1 Day BUCHAREST

Arrival at Bucharest International Airport. Your guide meets you at the airport. Transfer to Bucharest. Panoramic tour of the city. Accommodation at a hotel. Rest of the day is free.

2 Day BUCHAREST - PELES CASTLE- BRAN CASTLE (180 km.)

Breakfast. Departure to Sinaia and Bran to visit both wonderful castles of Romania -Peles Castle in Sinaia and Bran Castle in Bran. Peles Castle is built between 1875 and 1883)and it is a former summer residence of King Carol I of Romania. It houses a museum with remarkable collections of paintings, sculptures, armor and furniture of inestimable value. Bran Castle built in the 13th century as a fortress between Transylvania and Wallachia is a starting point for the Romanian tourism, due to its beauty, and the legend of Count Dracula, whose ghost still haunts these places. After visit the castels return and overnight in Bucharest.

3 Day BUCHAREST - RUSSE (100 km.)

Breakfast. In the morning tour of Bucharest with visits of the Parliament Palace, the patriarchy, the historic center, etc.. Drive to Rousse. On the way visit the Ivanovo Rock Monasteries included in UNESCO World Heritage List. In the evening arrival in Ruse - important river port, famous with its historic center, called Little Vienna. Accommodation and overnight in Ruse.

4 Day RUSSE - SVESHTARI - VARNA (240 km.)

Breakfast. Departure to Sveshtari Thracian Tomb, included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. The tomb is famous with its extraordinary decor. Continue to Madara village and visit Madara Horseman / UNESCO /. In the afternoon arrival in Varna - Bulgaria's third largest city Accommodation in a hotel. Overnight.

5 Day VARNA

Breakfast. In the morning tour the cosmopolitan city of Varna. Visit the Ancient Roman Baths, the Cathedral dating back to 17th century c, the Museum of Archeology, The Sea Garden, etc.. Rest of the afternoon is free. Overnight in Varna.

6 Day VARNA - NESEBAR - VARNA ( 190 km.)

After breakfast departure to Nesebar. The old town of the city is declared World Heritage by UNESCO. It occupies a peninsula and is famous with the innumerable churches, the oldest of which dates from the 5th century. The city had been a Thracian settlement before it became a Greek colony. The remains of the Hellenistic period include an acropolis, temple of Apollo. Among the countless churches is St. Stephan Church. Its interior is covered with fabulous frescoes, dating back from 16th century. Return and overnight in Varna.

7 Day VARNA - VELIKO TARNOVO (220 km. )

Breakfast. Departure to Veliko Turnovo. Upon arrival tour including visit the Tsarevets Hill. Stroll through the medieval marketplace - Samovodska Charshia. Overnight in Veliko Tarnovo.

Day 8 VELIKO TARNOVO - ETARA - SHIPKA - KAZANLAK ( 80 km.)

After breakfast continue towards the Valley of Roses. En route stop at Etara- an open-air ethnographic museum. This is a traditional town re[resenting the crafts of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. At the workshops the tourists can see copper, gold work and how are made the famous carpets, how musical instruments are made, how knives are made manually, and so on. The Balkan Mounain is crossed by the Shipka pass discovering spectacular scenery. In the village of Shipka the tourists will visit the famous Russian church. Upom arrival in Kazanlak, located in Rose Valley, visit Thracian Tomb /UNESCO World Heritage List/. Dated back from IV century BC and discovered accidentally in the 1944 year. The tourists visit an identical replica, built in year 1974. The tomb is covered with frescoes depicting scenes of battle. The entire complex is typically Hellenistic and is the richest of all those found in Ancient Thrace. Overnight in Kazanlak.

9 Day KAZANLAK - PLOVDIV ( 95 km.)

After breakfast departure to the city of Plovdiv. Tour of the old town. The tourists can stroll through its narrow streets, visit the ruins of the walls and the Roman Theater and visit some of the picturesque museum-houses of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the church of Saints Constantine and Helena and the Ethnographic Museum. Overnight in Plovdiv

10 Day PLOVDIV - RILA MONASTERY- SOFIA (270 km.)

Breakfast. Transfer to Rila Monastery, a declared as UNESCO site and included in the World Heritage list. It is the largest and most important monastery in Bulgaria. It's shaped like a fortress with 2 entries. It was founded at the beginning of the tenth century. From this period have remained only as Hreleu Tower and the Monastery Kitchen. The visit begins with the Museum where they are exposed ancient icons, gospels and other objects of worship. In the afternoon arrival in Sofia and accommodation at a hotel.

11 Day SOFIA - AIRPORT

Breakfast. In the morning the tourists start a panoramic tour of the center of the capital, which includes the Church of St. George (fourth century), National Archaeological Museum, National Theater, the Russian church of St. Nicola, Parliament Square, the Cathedral Alexander Nevsky and The Church of St. Sofia. Transfer to the airport.
