Departure for Rila Monastery is declared a UNESCO site. It was founded in 10th century. In the Monastery complex you can visit: the Nativity of the Holy Virgin Church, the monastery kitchen (called Magernitsa), Hrelyo Tower, the Transfiguration Chapel, and the museum. Return back to Sofia.

Departure to Koprivshitsa - one of the few thoroughly preserved architectural ensembles of the Revival Period. During the tour you will visit six museum houses - Oslekov`s House - the most famous architectural and ethnographic site of the town, the House of Georgi Benkovski - the leader of the April Uprising; the House of Luben Karavelov - it introduces to the revolutionary and journalistic activities of Luben Karavelov; the House of Todor Kableshkov - exhibits the activitis of a 25 year man who organized the rebellion in the town, the author of the famous Blood-stained letter, etc.; Lyutov`s House – hosts an exposition on the Treasury of the Bulgarian Construction Genius; the House of Dimcho Develyanov - a famous Bulgarian poet. You can enter all houses or visit just few of them following your interests. Return back to Sofia.

TOUR TO THE OLD TOWN OF NESSEBAR, DURATION: 8 hrs, with lunch
Depart to the ancient town of Nessebar. Walk through the old town, a UNESCO site of World Heritage. The Old Town occupies a peninsula and it is famous with its churches that are over 41. The oldest church dates from the fifth century. The city was a Thracian settlement before becoming a Greek colon. The remains of the Hellenistic period include an acropolis and a temple of Apollo. Mitropolia and the fortress dated back to the medieval times. Among the countless churches is St. Stephan. Its interior is covered by fabulous frescoes, dating back to the sixteenth century. Return to Varna.
TOUR TO THE CITY OF BALCHIK, Duration: 6 hours, with lunch
Departure towards the town of Balchik, situated 30 km north of Varna. The town was founded in V century A.C. It is famous for the largest and richest botanical garden on the Balkans and the palace of Romanian queen Maria. The palace complex consists of a central palace with a high tower, many buildings in a style typical of that time, the park, the alcoves with a wonderful sea view. Return back to Varna.
TOUR TO ALADJA ROCK MONASTERY, Duration: 3 h
Visit the Monastery of Aladja. The name of this rock monastery of rock (the height of the rock is 60 m) means \'red\' in Turkish after the medieval wall paintings that today are almost obliterated. The cells of the monks were cut in the limestone. The monks used to lived there from V century AD. The monastery was abandoned in the eighteenth century. The tourists will see also a cave, which was used by monks as a tomb. Return back to Varna.
TOUR TO PLISKA AND MADARA HORSEMAN, Duration: 8 hrs, with lunch
During the tour you will visit firstly the famous Madara Horseman. The bas-relief is the most impressive piece of monumental art from the Early Medieval Epoch, evidencing that the Bulgarians are of Indo-European origin and culture and a highly civilised statehood people. The rock wall that the horseman is cut has a height of 23 m. The composition is a master\'s degree and consists of a horseman, a dog and a lion. This relief is a symbol of triumph over the enemy. No one knows exactly who is the prototype of the image and that time dates. Afterward we continue to Pliska - a city that was a political, military, economic and cultural center of the first Bulgarian kingdom. Tour the remains and return back to Varna.
TOUR TO CAPE KALIAKRA, Duration: 7 h, with lunch
Departure for Cape Kaliakra-the most salient point of the Northern Black Sea. Upon arrival you will admire the medieval remains of the fortress, the natural cave, the rock formations and the diversity of birds that inhab the area. Moreover the site offers amazing view to the Black Sea where often you can see patches of dolphins.

Departure to the town of Sozopol - one of the oldest in the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. Its ancient name Apollonia, owes its origin to a temple of the Greek god Apollo. There is a famous colossal statue of 9 m in height in this temple. Stroll through the old town of Sozopol, with its Old City and its port. Today the town is known for its romantic atmosphere and is popular as a place of artists, musicians and actors.
Optionally you can add a boat trip down the river of Ropotamo, famous with its equatorial forest which is not typical for Bulgaria.
